Artifacts: match every skill to the right Core

Learn the four skill-family Artifacts first, then compare all 12 documented Cores, every Power quality and the current Mage example without mixing account values into the universal rules.

Four magical Artifacts displayed in a blue and gold arcane vault

Artifacts in one minute

Build one board for each skill family.

Activate the sockets, place Artifact Powers in the small nodes, then place one matching Artifact Core in the large node. The Core changes how that skill family behaves; Power nodes add smaller offensive or defensive effects.

  1. 1
    Pick the Artifact

Match it to the skill family you want to improve: Basic, Core, Tactical or Ultimate.

  2. 2
    Activate sockets

Use Conduction Crystals to unlock the small nodes and then the large node.

  3. 3
    Fill small nodes

Embed Artifact Powers for offensive or defensive values. These can be used across Artifact boards.

  4. 4
    Choose the large Core

Embed one matching Core. Choose its trigger for the fight—not only the largest number.

Small node = Artifact Power

A reusable stat effect. Offensive Powers improve output; defensive Powers reduce incoming skill damage.

Large node = matching Core

A combat trigger tied to that Artifact family. Only one Core is fitted to the board's large node.

Quality changes two values

It changes the item's embedded value and the node activation boost. Use the quality switch in the gallery below.

How to change a node

Open Artifact, select the correct board, tap a small or large socket, then replace its Power or matching Core. Use the in-game Reset control when you need to rebuild the activated path; review the displayed cost before confirming.

What changes after embedding

Activation, item effect and durability are separate

Keeping these three layers separate makes the system much easier to read.

01Base node activation

The socket grants its base effect after you activate it with Conduction Crystals.

02Embedded item

A Power adds its listed value. A matching Core adds its combat trigger and its quality-scaled value.

03Durability

Embedded Powers and Cores consume durability in activities. At zero durability, replenish the item before relying on it.
