Artifacts

Nodes & embedding

Unlock a node, then strengthen its effect.

01

When Artifacts unlock

The first class-specific Artifact unlocks at character level 64. Further Artifacts unlock as you level up.

There is also a server catch-up rule: once enough players have unlocked Artifacts, players above level 50 automatically unlock the system. The rule does not give a numerical server threshold.

02

Three separate effects

Each Artifact has several minor nodes and one major node. Opening a node activates its own ability and bonus. This Activation Effect belongs to the node.

Conduction Crystals unlock ability slots and activate their base effects. You can exchange Artifact Energy for these crystals; later slots cost more.

Embed a Power in a compatible minor node, or a matching Artifact Core in the major node. The item adds its own Embedding Effect and increases the node’s Activation Effect according to its quality.

Power Nexus affects Basic and Core Skills. Strong Nexus affects Tactical and Ultimate Skills. Stable and Resolute Nexus protect against those respective skill pairs. Choose the item effect separately from the node effect.

03

Reading the percentage

Normal adds 25%, Rare 50%, Epic 100%, Legendary 200% and Mythic 400% of the affected base Activation Effect. These are increases to that effect, not to your character’s total DPS.

Example: a base coefficient of 20% with a Legendary item receives +40 percentage points, for 60% in that affected coefficient. Do not multiply cooldowns, hit counts or an entire skill description unless its tooltip confirms that they scale.
