Warlock arrives—and Abyss becomes an eight-week season.
Today’s update adds Whoa Adventure’s sixth class, replaces the original Abyss loop with Abyss Conquest Season, and opens a new dungeon with Skill Effect rewards.

How Warlock unlocks and plays
Crystals generate automatically over time after the trial begins. Complete all five trials to unlock Warlock and the class-change option, so starting the quest early avoids wasting regeneration time.

PARTY AURA — READ THIS CAREFULLY
Warlock is a damage dealer with party support—not a healer.
Its main job is ranged damage. Outside Monster Invasion, Warlock also increases party Class Aura effects by 20%, and the notice describes an additional 20% unique passive when the party contains exactly one Warlock.
Summons, corruption, possession and demonic auras drive its damage.
The confirmed team effect applies outside Monster Invasion.
The notice describes a separate unique 20% passive for a one-Warlock party.
Drain and transformation recovery heal the Warlock itself; they do not replace a Priest.
This is aura-effect amplification—not a confirmed flat +40% party-damage buff. The real gain depends on which class auras are active and how the global client calculates both effects.

Final 50-point route
Ten points in each of the four equipped skills.
The final capture resets Buff 1 and maxes the Crit branch.
Triggers for 10s after a Tactical skill; 15s cooldown.
The Attack branch was tested, reset, then replaced by this Crit branch.

WARLOCK
The confirmed combat identity
Summon
Calls a Void Spawn; Hellgate can bring in a Hellhound or Helllord.
Corruption
Shadow attacks apply corruption effects that support the damage loop.
Possession
Demonic possession adds another source of damage to the kit.
Drain
Damages enemies while restoring the Warlock’s own HP.
The class specialization transforms the Warlock into a demon, adds area damage and restores HP—an aggressive ranged kit with built-in sustain.
ABYSS CONQUEST SEASON
The old Abyss loop is being replaced.
The new season starts on 21 September, requires World Level 70 and lasts eight weeks. Dreadfire Invasion is the headline dungeon; completing its challenges awards new Skill Effects.
The official regional preview describes four Abyss instances rotating through the season. Confirm the exact global rotation and reward schedule in your client after maintenance.

What the current English skill screens confirm
These eight in-game captures confirm the English names, cooldowns and visible tooltip values. Several longer descriptions are clipped inside the game card, so this summary does not guess at missing lines.
Fast shadow skills
Shadowbolt has a 1s cooldown and lists 52% shadow damage. Deathcoil also has a 1s cooldown, lists 10% shadow damage and applies one Corrosion stack.
4.3s options
Chaosbolt lists 194% fel damage to the target and nearby enemies. Summon Demon calls a Void Spawn whose visible tooltip lists one 10% attack per second.
13s area skills
Shadowburn sends three forward waves and shows 25% and 75% shadow values. Doomrain deals 12 area instances at 35% each—420% listed total if every hit lands.
21s power skills
Hellgate summons three Hellhounds, each visibly listed at 26% per second. Possession lasts 10s and adds 50% damage to talent skills.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR A MAGE MAIN
Test the party effect before rebuilding anything.
Warlock may become a valuable one-slot party partner because of its aura interaction, but the update notice does not prove the final damage gain. Treat the first week as a controlled test.
Start the Warlock trial now
Crystal generation is time-based, so accepting the quest early preserves progress even if you stay on Mage.
Save rare materials
Wait for global tooltips and matched damage runs before changing class or investing in regional-preview skills.
Record a new Mage baseline
Run Dreadfire with the current build, then compare the same party with and without exactly one Warlock.
Treat Skill Effects as cosmetic
The official preview presents them as visual effects, not a confirmed damage upgrade.
